Hi Henrik! What does your work at SLU Holding involve?

I’m an Innovation and business advisor, with a slight emphasis on starting and investing in new companies.

Could you tell us a little about your background?

I hold a Master’s in chemical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, and am very interested in economics and business. I used to work at Lantmännen on investments in startups and growth companies, as well as on corporate acquisitions and sales.

What’s it like supporting and working closely with researchers?

Really exciting! I’ve always been interested in new technology and new inventions, despite not having a scientific background myself. At SLU I get to work with researchers who are experts in their fields and to share in new research results – and at the same time I can help them create business or make sure the results benefit society in other ways.

Where do you get the inspiration for your work?

From all the people I work with – my colleagues at SLU Holding and all the researchers and entrepreneurs I meet in my work.
