SLU students win Game changer of the year award
Axel Ljudén and Albin Nyström's app Plocka are the winners of Venture Cup business idea competition.

With a simple process, they provide an easy guide to where to find the best berry and mushroom spots.”
This was the prize motivation when forester master students Axel Ljudén and Albin Nyström won the prize as this year's Game changer in the Venture Cups Sweden final. Albin and Axels app Plocka collects and analyzes complex data from the forest and creates a map that is easy to use. The aim is to provide a guide to where and when you can be most successful in finding mushrooms and berries.
The beta version of the app has been developed with Validation funding from SLU Holding. Axel and Albin will use the Venture Cup prize money of SEK 50,000 for further development of the app. During the autumn, they will attend Uppsala Innovation Center's Business development program.
